What is Thai Boxing?
Thai boxing is a great way to get in shape, while at the same time, learning how to strike with extreme power and accuracy. The strikes include, punching, kicking (with feet and shins), knees, and elbows, and are always done on Thai pads, which are held by a partner. The workout usually consists of a warm-up and stretch, with a warm-up round on the Thai pads. Next, it moves into combinations done in timed 2 or 3 minute rounds courtesy of the Bas Rutten Thai Boxing CD. The class then finishes up with abdominal training and push-ups.
