What is Thai Boxing?

Thai boxing is a great way to get in shape, while at the same time, learning how to strike with extreme power and accuracy. The strikes include, punching, kicking (with feet and shins), knees, and elbows, and are always done on Thai pads, which are held by a partner. The workout usually consists of a warm-up and stretch, with a warm-up round on the Thai pads. Next, it moves into combinations done in timed 2 or 3 minute rounds courtesy of the Bas Rutten Thai Boxing CD. The class then finishes up with abdominal training and push-ups. Whether you are looking to get into shape, toughen up your body, or learn how to strike effectively, Thai boxing may be the solution to help you reach your fitness or weight loss goals.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muy Thai Kickboxing are classes for adults only. Both of these classes are great ways to get into shape and learn the greatest forms of self-defense.
